It's gonna be Sabers vs. Wings in the finals...

...Buffalo is unstoppble (Ottawa's got game 1, but Sabers are gonna sweep the rest...*)...and Anaheim is gonna be a pushover...

...the finals are gonna be intreasting though, two evenly matched teams... :)

* they did beat New Jersey though, and I wasn't expecting that...

Go Wings...! 8-)

Not a real hockey fan, but every now and then I just have to root for my home state team (which kicks ass).

It will be Redwings Ottawa. I've not been wrong in my predicitions yet on another site. Well with the exception of Calgary but they are my team damn it. Buffalo are good but I think they'll find that Ottawa are just that much better.
And in the end it will be the Redwings :'( Who will win the cup. They went into the toughest arena in the world during playoffs in Calgary and beat them. That alone shows me they are going to be good enough to win the lot.

Wouldn't say that...

...Calgary barely even made it into the playoffs ;)

San Jose had me worried though, they destoryed us in the regular season, and on top of that, we went in without Holstrom...

Calgarys end of the season was poor yes. But just look at how they took control at the Saddledome, both in the regular season and the playoffs. Best home record in the NHL. And the first two games there they basically handed Detroit their backsides. If they wern't such a poor road team it would have been much closer.
Just remember aswell Calgary had a run beating all the top teams towards the end of the season which pretty much secured their place in the playoffs including Detroit, Anaheim, Buffalo and San Jose.
Also I'd like to point out. The redwings fans are rather stupid at times. They claim they love their team yet every playoff game I have seen, there have been large chunks of empty seats, oh yeah thats real support for a long time team. Add in theres no atmosphere at their arena and lousy pre game build up I sometimes wonder why there is so much media attention for the team.

Well, Detroit's home record isn't far beind (29 wins to Calgary's 30)...but we've got a much, much better away record...

...and I wouldn't nesscarely call those 3-2 wins "asskick"...well, not when compared to the 3-1, 4-1, and 5-1's that Detroit dealt out at the Joe...

...and you gotta keep in mind, we got 3 teams going off right now...Pistons, Wings, and the Tigers...we can't be at all three at once ;)

too bad the football team sucks lol.
I'm not saying the Wings are a bad team. So dont misunderstand. Also those two losses in Calgary they were outplayed quite a lot. Thats why I think they will go on to be the champs.

...Sabers should've won game 2...

...that first goal that they disallowed, you honestly can't tell whether or not the stick made contact from any of the camera angles...

...even with the bad calling,  you can clearly tell that Buffalo is the better team...they got three past Emery in about 7 minutes...

...they just got cocky and let Ottawa catch up (just as in game 1)...

3-0 storm, Are you going to give up on the buffalo bandwagon yet? ;) They might win tonight but they stand no chance of going 4 straight.

Meh...I know...

...I guess I over estimated Buffalo...or under estimated Ottawa...

...but I do have to admit, Ottawa has been playing as a much better team that I gave them credit for :)

...I'm still not gonna put Buffalo out of the picture yet...if ottawa can win 3 straight, then Buffalo had a shot at going 4 straight ;)

To be completely honest, I would rather have Detroit play Ottawa than Buffalo in the finals though...
