Looks like air racing is getting a bit more popular.  Crowds over a million?!  :o

I will always enjoy a NASCAR race.
I am going to Dover again in June, like I have for the past 9 years.

A full weekend of friends, tailgating, beers, burgers and no wives.

Then add horsepower, drunk Nascar chicks and a real fun weekend and it can't be beat.

I am no REDNECK but hell...

I know how to have a good time and have allot of fun!
COMING SOON!

Air Racing, combining two of my favorite things.  It couldn't get much better. 8-) ;)

NASCAR is still fun though, I'm off to Chicago in June (maybe) and Michigan in August (hot), but everyone knows, the best part of a race is the fly-over. ;)

I think NASCAR is boring because all you do most of the time is just watch cars go round and round for hours. This air racing looks fun to watch though.  :)

I am just a train fan who happens to like flying and attempting to get the better of the mods especially those with 20/20 vision ;D ;D

If you like airplanes and flying, this kind of air racing is about as cool as it gets!    8-)  ;D

The Red Bull series has been big in Hungary for a few years as Peter Besenyei is racing in it and doing well and we have a round in Budapest every year which involves a lot of going under bridges along the Danube 8-)

The Reno Air Races used to be televised on this side of the puddle, I believe by ABC's Wide World of Sports. This was back in the 1970's and early 1980's, before corporate greed rose to the point it is today. Back then some networks would air stuff just for variety or to kill time.

I'm not able to make a Nascar race this year. However at the end of July, I'm heading down to Richmond to watch the Indy Race.

I've seen both NASCAR Busch and the then Winston cup races at IRP and Indy respectivly. It was a treat actually being there. Getting out of IMS after the race was a, well let's just say it wasn't a treat.  ;)
I also had tickets and a VIP pass from Coca-Cola the year Dale Sr. won. I thought it was going to be rained out so went to work instead-still kicking myself for that one.
I was also at IMS the year before the inaugural race when NASCAR had a big test session. In many ways it may have better than the race as access was at a premium and admission was only $5.00.
