PS# or a Wii??

Wii. Although it is rubish for graphics the gameplay is still excellent with its motion sensitive wiimote . Wii has kicked the PS3 big fat arse on sales as well.

I'll agree driving on the wii is wierd AT FIRST. but after about, oh lets say, 5 mins, you are used to it. I am not sure if GTA 4 will be out for the wii but i got a ps2 so im fine with either.

And the availibility of the wii is dependent on where you live.... you can either be less or more likely to find it. It depends on when the shippment arrived, and if you live in a high or low demand area, for example the demand for a wii aint that high in Bismarck, North Dakota. but in Loudoun County Virginia (aka the Richest County in the US of A, also where i live

this may be true.  and im sure it is.  but of course, i hav a bias.

I'm biased towards:
Sony PlayStations
nVIDIA Graphics Cards
Intel Processors
Corsair Memory (although I don't have it right now)

And that is only so far, who knows who'll be on my list soon.

Anyway, I think the reasons behind the PS3 not doing well is because:
Price
New architecture (I believe) making programming for it a little bit more difficult
Lack of games at the moment, probably due to the above reason

So whatever.

I suppose you could say, that for a better experience with the PS3, you need only wait for more titles on it.

P.S.  Any freezing occuring on a system is either caused by an error in the operating system's programming, or an error in an applicaton's programming.  Therefore, you can't really blame the PS3 and Sony guys for Motorstorm freezing...

Well if its a Wii or a PS3, you've got to ask yourself something. Do you want great gameplay, but poorer graphics (wii), or less gameplay and amazing graphics (ps3)? Im completely biased, you see, because in the entire of my school (2500+ students) there are two people with PS3's and dozens with Wii's, if not hundreds. But from what I've seen, nintendo make much better games than Sony's counterparts. This is entirely debateable, of course.

The PS3 is better in my opinion, better graphics, more powerful, space for your own movies, songs and photos, the ability to connect to the internet and more.

Anyways... I gotta be honest, my PC is a lot more powerful than the Wii, and probably on par with the PS3 and Xbox360 (I think... any specs from the ps3 or xbox?). What I'm looking for is a kind of emulator that uses the game disk instead of a Rom file. I figure that sony, nintendo, and microsoft are going to make their money on the games not the console, so if I'm buying the games but not their console, I doubt they would mind much. Y'know, I can see them releasing their own emulator of this kind in the near future. This is probably still illegal, but I think it would be a great idea.

the answer is obvious... get a hammer and save yourself from the arthritus risk involved with extensive use of console controllers....
i only know that because my sister is a physiotherapist and she use to rant at me when i was on my xbox all the time.

thats how nintendo have survived, each console they have realeased has had graphics behind its competitors, N64 compared to Playstation, gamecube to PS2 and Xbox and now the wii compared to the xbox 360 and PS3.

nintendo are more for fun and just to enjoy your gaming, look at the DS not a serious bit of kit but fun anyway, the wii from what i heard is a realy good buy, and PS3's are just over priced and allready looking a little dated.

The PS3 has become the best selling console on release despite it's price. There are numerous articles on the web about it.
Also everyone I know who bought a Wii has told me they played it for a few weeks, and now its sitting in their drawer or cupboard gathering dust.
I bought a PS3 and i've not gotten bored with it yet. Plus with my HDTV it just blows any other console away graphics wise.
You have a choice but its 360 or PS3. The Wii is a short term play toy, thats why its cheap.
