You should try being a lecturer at a uni. The students behave there (most of the time).

That's because:

a) you can fall asleep and they don't care, and

b) not turn up (aka, having a lie in) :) ;D

Good point Ben. It's apparently the same with adult education classes. The difference being that most of the students are there because they wish to learn.

b) not turn up (aka, having a lie in)

There is also the more cynical view of course. ;)

Lol some of the lecturers may be like that others certainly are not. A number of them will not tolerate anyone being 1 minute late or the slightest whispering. Woe betide anyone caught going to sleep or get caught throwing a paper plane! Some of them are really quite strict actually.

That sounds much like the theoretical parts of army basic.
Long day out in the woods and then classes....tired beyond limits and desperately trying to stay awake or risking a shout from the instructor.

The horror, the horror!

School was much better...and taught me kind of the social skills that came in handy in the army.

LOL, thanks. I'm home-educated (I don't go to school), therefore I'm around adults more than kids. Therefore I act like an adult...!
I am an adult so I don't.

I saw this as I was preparing to post my own response:

You're only young once so please make the most of your youth while you can.
I tried being an adult once. Didn't like it so went back to being a kid. It's much more fun.
;)

Just so you know I know how a wing works now!  :D I went on an R/C flight last night and Dad explained it to me on the way back. He's aviation-minded and into R/C as well.

There's five pages of crap thoughtful posts to go through that I don't have time for, but I like your name bluesky!  Brings me back to FS98 days.  "Bluesky 737 is rolling" ;D
