I mean... there are clique-ish moments here, esp. in the screenshots forum:
A: Here's my umpty-millionth F-18 shot with a heat-blur edit...
B: Nice shot!! Here's my trillionth "graphics-so-good-the-fps-must be at 0.5 " shot...
A: Nice shot!! Here's my 1000th "Best shot I ever made" shot...
C: Nice shot! I'm new here, what do you guys think of my shot... default aircraft and a view not often seen...
A, B: Ew! Jaggies! Your system sucks! Been seen before! Why waste your time?! Etc!!
-you all know what I mean...
But to whine about it... at his age!! Lordy!!
I see his point, but he really just comes off like a pouty third-grader. And I feel that even a more mature, insightful comment on the (very mild) clique-factor here at the V would have not been worth making as a video rant, really...
When the youngsters get steamed up about the Screenshots forum, I can take that with a grain of salt... youth and all that...but ...
I'm not very mature, really, but I know that you can't please everyone, and if you like your screenshot, it doesn't matter much what some say, especially if you feel they are being dismissive only because you are not part of the "in crowd." Heck, I got over that crap in junior high... and many of my peers respected me for that. Real respect, not the phony "one of us" kind. ::)
Oh God it's too funny... this clip desperately needs a funny edit.
