Is YouTube going off??

Someone told me that YouTube is either going off the net or will soon require paid registration or something like that to access.

I know very little about YouTube, don't have time to research this.  Does anyone know anything about this?

I'v heared they are going to pay people every so many times their video's are beeing watched... so i don't think it'll disappear!

However, it will be funded by... advertisment... yuck...  :)

Plus on almost every video there is a comment saying something along the lines of...

"in 1945 a girl was murdered and.....   ...repost this in ## videos to get your soul back"

Seen those, but more like the F*** comments. All of the big hit videos are full of spam and troll posts.

No kidding... if you look at the Most Viewed page or whatever it's called, about 99% of it is copyrighted material... seems a lot of people like to post entire anime series in installments, presumably to be watched by people who already have them on disc or have seen them... weird.
