Where can I catch the #9 Bus?

Woman on the wrong bus lost for 25 years

BANGKOK, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- A woman who boarded the wrong bus on an attempted shopping trip from Thailand to Malaysia has returned home after 25 years.

Jaeyana Beuraheng told her eight children she accidentally boarded a bus bound for Bangkok instead of Malaysia, and once there she boarded a second incorrect bus because she could not read or speak Thai or English, The Times of London reported Wednesday.

Beuraheng, who speaks only the Yawi dialect used by Muslims in southern Thailand, said the noise and traffic of the big city confused and disoriented her, leading her to board the second wrong bus to Chiang Mai, near the border with Burma.

The woman said she spent five years begging on the street in the city and was often mistaken for a member of a hill tribe because of her dark skin tone.

She was arrested in 1987 on suspicion of being an illegal immigrant and was sent to a social services hostel when authorities were unable to determine her origins.

However, last month, three students from her home village arrived at the hostel for training, and they were able to communicate with Beuraheng and help her find her way home.

A while back, here in the UK a woman got into her car to drive to the next town. She accidentally got on the motorway and panicked not knowing what to do. Now this is where it becomes a bit unbelievable , BUT true, it made the national news......She carried on driving getting more and more in her own words, lost...........she was on a motorway, exit of and exit back on ::) However she kept going. She ended up at Dover ferry terminal, managed to board a ferry, crossed the English Chanel, arrived in France and kept going on the same road (as she saw it). She finally ran out of fuel in Italy and then decided to ring her husband..............Some people should not be let out without a chaperon. ::) ::)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

My 80 year old great aunt isn't capable of using the TV remote.  In order to change to chanel "7" you need to type "0" then "7".  She can't get to "7" fast enough and the chanel changes to "0".  Then to get to "25" she types "2" but takes too long to get to "5" and the TV changes to chanel "2".  She insists the remote is broken and uses the up/down buttons on the TV instead, getting up to change chanels just like she used to back in "the day".

BTW, my wife is a nurse, with the repsonsibility for peoples live in her hands every day, but for some reason she can't seem to figure out how to work her iPod... ::)

My wife is a teacher, educating the future leaders, rocket scientists and burger flippers of this world, but common sense was not a subject she took at university..............love, strange thing though.
