It's gonna be an immigrant detention center.
A sad end to a place with a long and interesting history :(

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I thought Germans were whiney about politics, but you Brits really raise the bar.

You can't do a thing about it anyways, so why should you bother at all about that?

It's isn't political at all...

...we're only talking about people pretending to be politicians! ;) :P ;D

Anyway, back on topic, it will be interesting to see if they utilise it properly as a removal centre - ie use the 6500ft of runway for charter flights to effect removals of failed immigrants.

Nah they'll turn it into a bowling alley to keep all those poor illegal immigrants busy when they're not splashing around in the Olympic sized swimming pool or taking skiing lessons on the dry ski slope ::)

Strewth! Well at least the illegal immigrants will be able to live in the lap of luxury whilst many poor British tax payers suffer ::)

That is okay as most of these illegal immigrants can't swim anyways! I wouldn't say no to a half-Olympic pool :o
