I bet he doesn't, I mean he probably has his own true to real life version with exact buildings where they are supposed to be and stuff!

I'm sure he has greater things to worry about.

Bill Gate (rumoured) doesn't like flying (or didn't ..) - rumoured to be one of the reasons MS bought FS from BA ....

Flight Simulator was Microsoft's 1st franchise. MS Flight Simulator was in the shops years before Windows existed. It's how many people 1st saw the word 'Microsoft' - me included - way back in about 1988.

We can assume

1. Bill Gates certainly knows about FS. He would have been heavily involved in the purchase. MS was not a big company back then.

2. Whether he still takes any interest? - who knows! I would guess he still pops his head in the door (at least metaphorically) if only for nostalgic reasons.

But if he does fly it, I wonder if he complains about the bugs. ;D

No, he gets the top secret bug free version that runs perfectly with sliders to the right and no CTDs ;D

He seems more likely a busisness man than a Programer engineer  ;D

Flight Simulator has bugs?

Honestly, games from Microsoft are some of the most-bug free games there are.

Bill saw how valuable DOS was when its creater didn't even realize what he had.  He purchased it fair and square and re-sold it.  Funny how real-estate developers aren't viewed as pirates but do the same with a piece of software and you're a bad person.  And it's only fair that he stole the Apple concept of a GUI, after all Apple stole it from Xerox.

I bet he doesn't as I'd bet he doesn't have time for games.  But if he were to play games I bet he would.  And (if he has kids, don't know his personal life) I bet his kids play it.

you make a good point. these games are very good, its when 3rd party gets into it is when troubles start to happen. and the more you add, the more it complicates. i was going to write a post about how you can say it was good, then i realized all problems i had were because of a 3rd party addon.

I'll bet Mr. Gates has at least looked at the new version of FS (everytime there is a new one) and maybe even messed around with it a little. But I doubt he has the time, and maybe not even the interest to play FS. The reason I think that is because FS is one of Microsofts major "games", or maybe it seems that way to me because I like it so much, and hang out here with a bunch other people who like it too. :P
