IP Address risks

is their any risk to giving other people your IP address?

Well, as far as I know yes...Depends on who you are giving it to...Whenever I fly Multiplayer in FS9, I just use the wonderful SimV server...It's great and I meet lots of people from SimV!  ;)

Just to be on the safe side, I would also use permenant servers that are already established like WSP's servers or SimViation's servers.
