Actually IE is better than ALL OF THEM period... 3rd party browsers in my mind are just worthless, I mean whats the point? I used netscape for ages because of my mother, I didn't like it, tried all browsers, don't like em except for IE. All the same basically, just one less thing you have to recover when you redo your pc in my mind.

Well... don't want to discuss much but for me... Opera access the sites much faster....and it eats less memory.... IE also shows a lot of requests and questions and tabs open more slowly (For me)

Tools -> Internet Options -> Tab Security -> Internet Zone -> Custom Level -> Scripting -> Allow programmatic Clipboard Access -> Enable

EXCELLENT!! Thanks Brett! The pop up was doing my head in aswell, but now it is fixed thanks to your directions posted above.

Well if the only other 3rd party browser you have used in Netscape, I don't blame you for thinking this, but IE gets its ar*e whooped by FireFox or Opera..

I havent used JUST netscape and JUST IE, I've used pretty much every browser just to see what the hype was, and honestly, there is none that I can see. Why is IE viewed as horrible by most? Because its an MS product probably.

Cheers, Gunny

:-? :-? FS is a Microsoft product....and we all here think it is great.... It's just because for some people other browsers are faster than IE..... It's just to choose the best over the good things  ;) :)

I should think that the majority of flak IE recieves is made up by those making and using the other browsers. I wonder what would happen in M$ started digging up dirt to fling at Firefox.

I've tried most of the browsers too. To me, the times you'll hit a page with some sort of conflict is too often. With IE there are no conflicts. I bank online and my bank MAKES me use IE... and  I'm not quite sure I'm ready for online shopping (giving out credit card numbers) through anything but IE. And since having to switch from one browser to another is a waste of time.. I'm just sticking with  IE.
