1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Wow. I would be kinda mad if I had paid for first class and forced to share it with a dead man.
However, there's nothing else you can really do.

I'm kinda surprised by this. Don't they have a defibrillator aboard all airliners?

"The airline said there were about a dozen deaths aboard its planes each year - out of a total of 36million passengers." - Glad I've never been on one of those flights.

At least he won't climb over you to use the lav just as you're nodding off, and there's always the added extra of ordering a "glass of champagne for my friend as well please".

The airline I work for, every aircraft carries and full doctors kit and a defibrillator, however the doctors kit can only be opened by a doctor. If one is not on board the crew have the normal first aid kit. All crew members are trained to use the defibrillator. Fleet wide it is used once every couple of weeks.

Sounds like he died before he slumped. If there is a defib on board and resus given he could have made it no problem if he was still alive after the attack. More than likely though he suffered a massive one. Very sad.

I'm still trying to figure out why they moved his body to First Class... I guess no seats available without someone sitting in the adjacent ones?I guess the bums in steerage- er, I mean Business Class- didn't want to sit next to a corpse, especially after watching him die.
Not sure I would, but better a dead man than some fidgety kid or a fat guy who keeps falling asleep and resting his head on your shoulder... LOL!

Surprised the cabin crew  didn't just say "Well, you certainly don't expect us to move him into First Class, do you?
Why, there are Important People sitting up there enjoying caviar and champagne- can't expect them to enjoy their flight with a dead man-from Business Class, no less- among them?
" Here, have some more peanuts, and pretend he's sleeping..."

;D

What about in the galley or where the stewardesses hostesses sit?  It would have been secluded and out of sight...  ::)

But if it is a long haul flight and he starts to smell it might put the PAX off their in flight meals. Better prop him up in a toilet and then set it INOP. One smell can mask the other.  :D
