Carr has got to go.  Enough is enough.  NEGATIVE FIVE YARDS PASSING!  That is inexcusable, especially for a 5th year quarterback.  And on top of it he can't hold onto the ball.  3 fumbles!

But Demeco Ryans should be defensive rookie of the year and should go to the probowl!  15 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 forced fumble, and an interception!  Oh ya I think he had a sack too.  Mario Williams is pretty good, but Ryans is amazing!

The Texans sure know how to set a record though, the least passing yards to win a game in NFL history and a few years ago they had the worst offense to win a game in NFL history (that was against the Steelers)

Jake I heard they just signed Bradlee Van pelt. Another ex Bronco following Kubiak. Believe me, you dont really want Carr being replaced by him unless its down to injury. I like the guy a lot as a player. He's a bigger version of Mike Vick. Cant hit the side of a barn from 5 yards though.
I honestly wouldn't be too surprised if Jake Plummer heads to the Texans next season. He would be a good pick up.

I wonder how long its going to be until Plummer is on the market.  I doubt Denver can get much for him in a trade but I would think that would be bettern than letting him sit on the sidelines for a while.  I'll bet he remains with Denver for the rest of the season and then is gone, possibly a draft day trade.

Well thing is, Mike wants him as back up but he is due a large sum of money next year so he would have to take a pay cut.
He is still good enough to start for quite a few teams so he wont be taking a pay cut. The big worry for Denver is Oakland picking him up so a trade with the Texans who have always had a good relationship with the Broncos would be the best bet. Another possible location is Atlanta. Very simmilar offense to the Broncos, and Vick is pretty much done in the city. If they dont go with Schaub (who they should) it would be another pretty good option.
I like Jake and just want to see him in a good role. Doesn't deserve to be backing up some guy who until a month before the combine was a complete nobody from one of the toughest divisions in college football.

As a side note. THose who saw the denver seattle game and saw the Fake field goal play and wondered what happend. Well apparently its Jasons own designed play that he's been waiting 12 years to try. Its called rainbow right. He told Shanny at the start of the week he saw something that would warrent giving it a try, but was warned, just dont pull a hammy on it. Talk about predicting the future. The idea was to run into the endzone because the seahawks always overload one side on fg's. Elam hurt his hammy only a couple of steps in because he was trying to avoid Herdon who most likely remembered the play from his time with Denver. Figures. ::) That lob from plummer behind him without looking though was a thing of beauty. :o

They picked him up because last week our back up, Sage Rosenfels, broke his thumb.  HE would be a good replacement.

Carr has to go, but not right now.  Next year in the draft they need to pick up a QB and dump Carr, or get a good trade like you said.

I doubt Oakland will go for Jake Plummer Craig, and as we all know it isn't wise to trade within your own division.  I think Oakland's best move would be to draft a QB, I'd get Brady Quinn as they will have a top 3 pick.  The only problem with that plan is Al Davis doesn't draft 1st round QBs (which makes no sense to me) but I think he should make an exception this year and pick up Quinn.

As for Plummer, I could see Atlanta but I doubt they will dump Vick.  I could also see Green Bay.  He has a lot of mobility and the coach up there now is an old west coast offense coach from the Bill Walsh era.  They like mobile QBs with short range accuracy and he'd be a good backup/possible replacement for the Favre/Aaron Rodgers situation (who ever is the starter next season).  Also, Seattle, I know they have a good starter but with Holgrem liking the west coast offense (another Walsh guy) he could be a useful backup up there.  SF could also use an experienced backup/mentor for Alex Smith.

Remember, there is a good chance that a few veteran QBs will be on the market this offseason.  Other than Plummer, Drew Bledsoe will certainly be avilable and who knows who else.  So, I'm sure he will find a home.
