I use to really enjoy him and his daughter Holly when they use to do "Ripley's Believe It or Not! (1980)", that was a really cool show. Most people remember him from "City Slickers (1991)", but he made allot of movies and normally played the bad guy, he was darn good at playing the bad guy. He was in "Barabbas (1962)" with Anthony Quinn and did a super job of playing a psycho Roman and played a pretty good "Dracula (1973)"... ;D

He'll be missed.  :(  I'm a Western movie fanatic and had the pleasure of watching him in many movies. He always added an extra sinister element to the bad guy role.
I also remember seeing him in "Cops and Robbersons", a stakeout comedy with Chevy Chase from 1994.

I didn't really like his Dracula but most of his other films were really good. Sad news.... think I'll see what films I've got with him in and watch them :'(

Good actor, always enjoyed him, will be missed.  Yeah, I remember the Ripley's thing with his daughter Holly hosting.  I liked his Western acting best.  Happy Trails, Jack, and thanks!

He was one of my faves... what a presence, and a good actor.
His niece was a friend of my mother's... said he was a very doting and sweet uncle;  a really nice guy.
