I love my iPod, over 7000 songs on it. Any music you buy from iTunes you can burn to a cd, I don't know about the movies and such, I assume you would be able to burn them to a DVD because you are purchasing them. I have the older version photo iPod so I don't have experience with the video side of things. I did buy my woman a video iPod last xxxmas and she says watching videos runs the battery down much quicker than just listening to music.
I know you can get games now from iTunes for the newer iPods, stuff like Bejeweled and Zuma.

I don't understand how people break them? I've had my 4th gen one since they 1st came out and had no probs at all, and neither does anyone else in my family ( think collectively we have at least 1 of every type ever made lol).

I know one idiot that i used to sit next to in school kept breaking his, but he would literally drop it 3 or 4 times a lesson...being plugged in with the iPod on the desk, forgetting...walking off...crash ;D

Do you guys abuse them or what?

I've got a sandisk MP3 player. I try to be carefull, but after over a month of combat missions, I've already made a small crack in the corner of the display, and scratched the display a little. When I completely destroy it, i'll get a new one ;D

Nah its allowed. Teachers hate it when we do whilst their teaching, but if we are doing work its cool. To be honest it helps most concentrate i reckon, harder to get distracted or talk when listening to music ;)
