Postby hsvfan » Wed Oct 25, 2006 7:04 pm

Hi all
Know that our new computer can run google earth I was wondering if anyone has located aircraft wrecks.

I was looking for the b17 (swamp ghost) in PNG but the detail wont let me see much

Cheers

Hi
I know what you mean. I know the location of the b17 but the area it is located in is not covered.

Its a shame there are so many areas that are'nt covered with good detail, its a excellent programe.

If you have trouble finding something in high res on Google Earth, use it in conjunction with Windows Live Local. They both tend to cover areas that the others don't, and so you have a higher chance of finding what you want.
