I would assume it means that the YABB Script does not allow you to re-register under the same name. This is what Pete mentioned. From what I see, his IP, User name & email are not on the ban list but like Pete said, if you delete yourself, it may open up a can of worms when trying to re-register.

I guess we will all see what happens.

hope to see Alex soon as we all know that you can read things on the forum when you are a "guest".

But why delete your account or give up the one thing that might be "positive" in your life. At least that is how Alex explained it. Hell, he was ready to attack Avsim for posting his airplane because his creations were for Simviation only as this was his "family". Why spiral downward and "remove" all the things in your life, be it good or bad?
this place was everything to Alex. I am just surprised that he would delete his account because he has money-relationship-job-income-etc.. problems...

Dave from what i can gather you can re-register under the same name as its no longer on the userlist, its what i did earlier this year and it seemed to work.

I have no idea why he left. Sometimes when you delete you account the email is left. The emails are encripted to avoid any spammers getting hold of the list but are also unreadable. So if you delete you account & your email isn';t deleted you will need an alternative email address if you want to re-register with new account. It will not allow you to re-register with your old account.

There is always a way back in if you want to come back.

I do remember that Alex often took the wrong meaning from people who were joking.

Sad - but life goes on. This has happened a few times.
