He was cool under pressure, and showed a sensible logical approach to the situation

When you see him next, give him a big pat on the back from me & the rest of the British public. Our boys don't get enough praise for dealing with stuff like this everyday, it can't be easy.
Oh and don't forget to buy him a LARGE glass of his favourite tipple..  ;)

The irony is, 10 years ago if anyone had told him he'd be getting that mention in the news, we'd have all died laughing. ;D

I need to see if I can dig up one of the articles on a very close friend and mentor of mine, who served as director of Civil Affairs in Fallujah.  It was a rather harrowing six months.
