I get streaming video broadcasts E-Mailed to me in England each day from Kron 4, relating the daily news from around the San Francisco area.

And during those broadcasts in which an interviewer asks the interviewee a very simple question, generally requiring the simple answer; "Yes" or "No" or "Perhaps", my delicate ear-'oles are invaded with a stream of unintelligible gobbledygook which totally confuses me, and takes time to figure out exactly what they mean in plain "American-English", (if there is such a thing?).
This strange language seems to be a speciality in the realms of the American Police, Medical personel, Fire Department, Military personnel of all ranks, Politicians of all persuasions, and anyone who is desperate to appear important and in full control of the situation, whatever it may be.
Why is it that whenever I listen to an American involved in a simple discussion I am persuaded to drop into a deep slumber before reaching the long awaited the end?
...tell me...someone...
We suffer a slight dose of it here in England with politicians, but nothing like it is in America...:o...!

Unfortunately, there are no medals for those successful candidates....)...!
Paul...Otherwise, I love Americans to bits!...

P.S. ...Beware; I'm in one of "those" moods today...

LOL...
