But isn't gold weighed in troy ounces? (runs down the screaming...AAAAAAAAGH)

Believe me, I'm not that greedy; if I can't readily transport it, I'll willingly take less (even a U.S. ton is a big chunk) lest I lose the whole thing in the attempt. :P

Troy? I hope you don't mean Ilium. I wouldn't make it to Troy, NH, dragging 32000 ounces Avoirdupois on a hand cart, let alone to a place in Asia Minor that's going to tell me it's less than 29167 ounces Troy. :'( :o
