bye bye rooney.
This has to be the most boring game I have seen, and people wonder why I dont care. Should have stayed at work.

It's a horrible blow to England with Rooney gone...

I think it's ridiculous how dramatic the Portugal players are.

I saw one get hit in the neck and then just drop and grab his nose!

and then theres Cristiano Ronaldo who gets slightly tackled, but proceeds to yelp and cluctch his foot.  Thank god this referee isn't falling for their acts.

Ahh, it's done.

Pity, I really don't like the announcer at the end saying how Rooney cost England the game with his childish outburst.  Even if he did, that was out of line.

Oh well, now I go root for France with Zidane and Henry.  (Good luck to them against Brazil though ::))

Football is rubbish!
The England squad are rubbish!
Time to fly (I've been doing a LOT of this during the World Cup rather than watching it) ;D

Will you chaps please defeat them next time? I can't hear myself think with all the noise over here in Newark, where there are more Portuguese than in Portugal... ;D

My understanding is that there are 22 jessies running up and down demonstrating a complete lack of thespianic talent and all the manners and culture of a chimps tea party whilst kicking a bit of reprocessed cow and getting paid more in a week than most people earn in a year!

My turn, Ozz...

Correction...the object to be furiously kicked is actually part of the water-works of a "Pig"...
..which must be inflated by mouth, and the end tied with a substantial knot, before each "match".

The remainder of your statement is correct in it's entirety...

Paul...over to you...;)...!
