Actually, Fathers Day is today in the US, as I thought.
but it's looked on here as just another scam by the greeting card companies.
Out of my five lovely children, two of them actually remembered Father's Day...
...especially one of my favourite Daughter-In-Law's, who, knowing me very well, and my general outlook on life, sent me this excellent card...>>>
....Shame the two lovely ladies on the right did not appreciate my outstanding attributes......!

The poor man got this dejected look on his face, threw his trench coat around himself and walked off mumbling to himself.
Not that I'm complaining but Father's Day is a fairly recent tradition. It originated in America where it was proclaimed an official public holiday in 1966, finally becoming law in 1972. I don't know when it was first introduced in the UK but it's not a public holiday here or in other parts of the world.
