So, basically the final will be won by the English, by defeating the Germans, because during the second half suddenly the American first and back-up team will enter the game and dribble the German goalie silly...

Unfortunately two English gentlemen (I would refer to them as dickheads, but that would probably upset ADMIN) managed that yesterday. They where bare chested and had drawn on each other the SS insignia. Needless to say the German police invited them to empty their wallets at the going rate for such an offence, and the local prosecutor has opened a file with a view to prosecution. The stupidity of people beggars belief.

PS What is the difference between "some" football fans and a computer............You only have to punch relevant information into a computer once!!!!!!

unfortunately, it would not be possibe for us and the germans to meet in the final, because the final will consist of one team from groups A to D, and then one from E to F, and because the we and the germans are both in the first 2 groups.

And the thing is, after sweden beat the germans then it really wont matter will it?

i reackon that we could go all the way, and that the inevitable England V germans match will present itself at one point or another.

cheers

Why write "Germans" without a capital letter and in a significantly smaller typeface.  :-/

I am not German, just happen to live here. Also if England had an overwhelming ability over others, then they would have won the world cup more than................once. Lets face it we talk a good win, but cannot produce the goods. So when we come home early, will this be the "oh I was thirsty" world cup excuse.

Matt

PS Not being a football minded person, can anyone answer the following question.
When a team looses, be it a national squad or a town/city team, why is it the fault of the manager and not the 11 over payed ballet dancers on the pitch??
