Hmm I'm not so sure of the practical applications of this. Afterall you'll then have to bury something as big as you without a trace... It is a nice idea and I'm sure a lot of fun.

I seem to recall a similar idea being tried out during WWII. It was dropped like most of the other mad ideas by mad boffins. ;)

PS. There's not very many original inventions, just old ideas revamped. :D

Mark, I think the idea is it folds up like a back pack, so you dont have to bury it...but what if it gets shot at ? Then you're fucked.

I did my first parachute jump (static line in this case) aged 18 years and 3 days... loved it ever since 8)
