This is why, if there really are other beings from outer space, they dont bother saying hello. LOL. Most people's first reaction is to wipe them out. Same thing brought up like you did first in the article.

Maybe something unusual is going to be tested over UK airspace, which will throw up all sorts of "UFO" sightings... conveniently explained away before the event.

One explanation for UFOs I've heard is provided they were hostile, the Air Force (or RAF, I guess) can do absolutely nothing about them, considering their speed and how they can change positions so quickly.  Makes the USAF/RAF looks bad, eh?  I still think all these UFOs are silly though.
