Bird Flu in UK...

...just heard on the radio (22:25) that a dead swan has been found in Fife (Scotland, next to Edinburgh) that was infected with bird flu.  that was all the details given at this time but more details are expected at 23:00 GMT.

It's not been confirmed wether its the H5N1 variant yet... It could be one of the less potent strains.

Naturally because the H5N1 strain can move into other spieces the only way to stop it is to kill absolutely everything. Therefore the only way to stop Birdflu is to have WWIII before it kills us. ;D

...just rushed out into my garden and collected up all the bread crusts that I put out for the Sparrows.... :o....!

Now I've got to stand in the middle in the garden telling them to "Shoo-off!"....and "Go away!"....etc...etc... :o...!
