Ugly Airplane

Postby Bubblehead » Fri Mar 24, 2006 9:39 am

I don't think I have ever seen an ugly looking aircraft unlike ugly looking cars like the Scion and Honda Element plus the old Gremlin and Ford Pinto. I guess the for it to fly a fixed wing aircraft has to maintain a certain configuration and the shape make it look attractive. I collect aircraft pictures for Freeware to use as my Desktop background.

I love Toyota's!! They are becoming on eof the world leaders in car manufacturer...we talked about that in class today...and I love the Scion...

You really hate the A380 don't you?

I mean, look at it's cute, loveable features at it lifts off! ;D ;D

I'd say that most cars are cool - as long as it works, it's good :D

As for an ugly aircraft, I'd say the RAF Nimrod *shudders* :)

Ahem - at least you could FLY in a Pinto (there was a conversion - add wings, an engine, (basically from a Cessna 337) ... and off you went...

The Gremlin was pretty nice - as far as chopped cars go.  Perhaps you were thinking of the AMC Pacer?

The Pontiac Aztek makes the Scion xB look artsy.

Now ... who can say what car was described in a major automobile enthusiast magazine as:  " a dehydrated Volkswagen (bug), with upholstery looking like it was cut by a blind Ginza prostitute with a hara-kiri knife..."

That intake below the little nose looks odd. The aircraft reminds me of an odd looking fish ;D
