Silly cat...

Postby ozzy72 » Thu Mar 16, 2006 2:53 am

A stowaway cat is licking its wounds after hitching a 180-mile lift under the bonnet of a car.
Nacho, a six-month-old tabby, crept out of his owner's house in Bristol on Sunday and slid into a neighbour's Vauxhall Astra. When he failed to come home that night, his owner, Natalie Roberts, began to worry.
"He doesn't usually go any further than the end of the garden," said Miss Roberts, 24. "The next morning I went to work, fearing he may have been hit by a car."
The RSPCA telephoned to say that Nacho had turned up in Liverpool, where her neighbour had driven a friend. He was discovered after passers-by heard meowing from the bonnet.
Miss Roberts was traced through her pet's microchip.
"He had burns on his tail, which will need an operation, and some other small burns, but apart from that it's like it never happened," she said.
Nacho may have had a motive for running away. "He was due to be neutered this week," she said.

Belgian cat does better!

A cat from an antiques-retailer sneaked into a container that was beeing filled for a client in America. The container went to the harbour of Antwerp, and was shipped over the Atlantic, trough the Panama-canal and ended up in California, where the cat walked out, alive and well.

She's now due to return to Belgium, in time for the famous Cat-parade in Ieper in May.  ;D

Moggy? Moggy? sounds like something you find in a Daihatsu cuore and not in a real car!

That explains a lot!  ;D

I was just thinking how silly it would be, listening to Jeremy Clarckson drooling over the Aston Martin DB9's 450 bhp "moggy"... just doesn't sound right... lol...

I know of a children's story about a cat named mog...

Other than that, the only Mog I know of is this one:
