[quote]I'm sorry to say that this type of trial is pretty meaningless. Whatever crimes they might be guilty of, these people will never admit to their guilt or even accept the authoriity of the court to try them.

I second that.  Or fourth it?  Whichever.

I had almost forgotten about him. I would have thought he would have been executed for what he was responsible for ::)

Execution was not an option, the UN does not allow it.

What bugs me about this, is that another commiter of crimes against humanity "escapes" before the's sentenced! I'd rather have seen him beeing convicted first, just as a way of confronting him he was wrong, allthough he might think otherwise...

Mmm, people will say he's escaped justice, but to be fair, I've always preferred being alive to being dead and not waking up in the morning...

No-one has said RIP yet - thankfully. ;)

I'm wondering if Satan has a motorized butt-stick waiting for him...

Oh well... Now bring in Karadzic and Mladic!

I also second that...and if they too die in prison then put them next to Milosevic in hell!

The United States is one of the few major western world nations (if not the only one) that still has capitol punishment.

I still don't know why they call it "capitol" punishment. They don't do it at the Capitol Building, do they? It's not very "capital" for the receiver, is it? :P
