If there is one Internet service that I avoid like the plague, trust me, it's the MSN/Hotmail/Chat service.... >:(...!
There are more flame wars, arguments, falling-outs, divorces, suicides, criminal activities, killings, rapes, etc, etc, due to using Microsoft's MSN than anything else I can positively think of... ;)...!

If I want to contact someone I use the Personal Message option on various Forums, Telephone, Mobile phone, or even writing a letter using real words with the aid of a a pen...;)...!
LOL...!

Cheers all...!

I make good use of my junk mail filter, so I didn't get this problem! 8)

I'm simply carefull about who I give my e-mail adress out to, so I don't have a spam problem

Funny, I use MSN exclusively.   Whenever a friend asks me if I have IM, I say MSN, but AIM if all else fails.  I never use Hotmail though.

I never give out my core address.  Even my penpals are on a intricate system of disposable addresses.  They get promoted when I think they're worthy. ;D ::)

I use all 3 services, just never get out any personal details untill I trust someone. I meet my fieancee thanks to a chat room, yes I meet her online and now were getting married. So I'm not really biased towards it, just cautious
