Always a good feeling to download with highspeed.  Switched from a pethetic 32K cable connection to a 768K DSL line back in January.  Did a little test before hooking it up.  Downloaded a song in 1.2 hours...new connection...same song...1.2 minutes  8)  

But you will still find sites with limits.  I noticed the fastest I've had from Avsim was 100K.  Still better then the old 3.2K

oh, combine cable modem with the SimV premmier, i was ettin 400k a sec.

the Ifly747 took 10 min. i couldn't imagine how long it took on dialup.

Well.. since I was born in 1965 I assure you it costs my parents nothing.

Here in Iowa, The middle of the country it costs me about $45 a month, but i get TV with it too.

I'm currently paying ( myself!!!  ;D)  39,95 euro /month for my 4 Mbs DSL-connection. Add the phone-line itself -  6,50 euro /month.

Total: 46,45 euro /month

Wich is a lot cheaper than dial-up for me!
