Well I don't Star Trek will end anytime soon. They are talking about a 6th show and have movies 11 and 12 planned

What use to amaze me was that an inter-gallactic star ship would come to an predictably dangerous, strange planet and the FIRST people to go investigate would be the the captain and ranking officers INCLUDING THE SHIP'S SURGEON  :o

Wrong, Star Trek 4 talking to Serek at the End they start Peace and Long life. This can also been seen in Unifaction Part 2 and on a few episodes of Voyager

You're right... I looked it up after that impetuous post... but I guess I was thinking of the old TV series, not the (mostly really bad) movies or (fairly decent) Voyager series...


I think "L.L.A.P." is the greeting, and "P.A.L.L." is the farewell...

And LOL, yes, even as a kid I thought it odd that the top officers aboard were always first to beam down. Not too risky if they brought a few "red shirts" along to absorb the initial attack, but still...
