Really? If I ever witnessed something like that, I would probably be a little extra cautious when being around running engines, but I'm sure I wouldn't have a problem with flying again.

There was a similar case years ago onboard a Navy carrier when a crewman on the deck ran past what looked like the "Intruder" [name of the aircraft] and was sucked in through one of the intakes.

Fortunately for him, his gear got caught somewhere inside and has kept his head a mere few inches from the compressor blades. He was a lucky guy.

However, I feel sorry for the recent case that just happened.

There was a similar case years ago

There's alot of similar cases, it happened on the aircraft carrier my dad was on during Vietnam.  He said there wasn't much left to send home. :P Pretty bad situation. :-[

Nasty. I once saw a car get too close to the back of one and my it was blown away quite literally like a leaf. I wouldn't want to be the opposite side pulling in.  :-/
