Never heard of a windows live messenger? isn't MSN messenger 'live'? ::)

what's the difference, and why would a person pay to have it when MSN messenger is free?

I thought i heard something on cnn or some other news channel awhile back about a new version of both msn and yahoo messengers that would allow you to only need one and talk to people on both ???

It would be nice to only need one ;)  But who knows if it was accualy real or just a dream...ive had some really strange dreams :P

Doesn't everyone have WLM by now? Microsoft has so saturated the masses with invites in the past week, that realy most everyone has it by now.

I just got another email from Microsoft this morning and now I am up to 17 invites for WLMessenger, and 10 left for WLMail.

Anyone here ever tried Trillian? It's an instant messenger utility that lets you talk to multiple messenger services at the same time. I used it a couple of years back but got rid of it later.

Here's a link to what it's all about:

http://www.download.com/Trillian/3000-2 ... 47473.html

Haven't used it in a while so I don't know what the updates are on it.

Trillian is nice, but it's webcam capabilities don't even approach MSN. It is still better than AOL, but it isnt any good for MSN.
