Missing T-39

Very sad. I have gotten the official e-mail chain back and forth. Wish I could post it but I'd probably lose my job. The contractor was a well respected pilot and so was the instructor. Three of them are married. Keep praying for them.

They found the plane last night about 9:30 PM in the side of a mountain. My mother works for PMA-273 who is the controlling officer of the T-39 and T-34 program. It is such a small program that everybody knows each other and they are taking the news pretty hard.

We also just found out we lost a T-34 a couple of minutes ago, but the pilots ejected safely. Wow what a couple of crazy days to work for the Navy.
