Angels

Well, with the upcoming show by the Blue Angels at Mather (a good 5 miles away).  I've come up with a good question.

How do the Blue Angels transport their planes and pilots?  Surly the planes fly themselves there, as transport planes is out of the question.  But do the pilots fly in it?  Is it all together, one by one?  Anything?

They fly the aircraft in together ........ apart from the advance aircraft which is number 8 I think. He flys in a few days before to sort out safety etc.

You're so lucky! I havn't seen the Blue Angels at an airshow since I was a young kid.

I did get to see the Thunderbirds a couple years ago, and at the end of the airshow, I got to meet the pilots and crew 8)
