Nevada barely squeeze one out in OT.

For those of you who didn't watch this game-you missed a thriller.  UCF rallied late in the 4th to score 10 points to send it to overtime tied 42-42.  Nevada got the ball first in overtime and scored a touchdown making it 49-42 (although their offense did struggle).  UCF came out and marched into the endzone in 2 plays to make it 49-48.  Then, the kicker pushed the PAT wide right.  It was a real shootout and a lot of fun to watch.

Damnit Rutgers!  They could've had that one if they'd just hold on.

Dispite being a Pac-10 guy (well, I hate Washington...so I guess I'm a Pac-9 guy  ;D) I was really pulling for Rutgers last night.

Aye, I just root for the underdog ;) (Rutgers has never won a bowl game-they've only been to one previous bowl game, I think 27 years ago, against the same team-ASU)

I was rooting for Rutgers for the same reason.  Plus, I really like their QB (although, I was very impressed by the ASU backup QB who played the whole game-he is a tough kid and is going to be very good in a couple years).  And yes, Rutgers only other bowl appearance was a loss to Arizona State in the 1978 Garden State Bowl.  Interestingly enough, that bowl game was played in New Jersey so until last night Rutgers had never played a post-season game out of their home state.

Actually, I got a book for Christmas that has all the information I could ever need (far more than I could ever memorize).  But, that I knew on my own.

Anyway, my parents bought me this for Christmas:

Jeez Richie, what happened to the Ducks? I only saw the fourth quarter (was watching 24 season 1 dvd for four hours ;D) but they played absolutely terribly.  Bad play calling, bad QB decision making, and even worse throws.  It was kind of hard to watch.  Was the rest of the game like that?
