For some reason the dead badger thing sounds like a Monty Python skit.

I've heard about these stupid lawsuits long enough. It's beginning to cause mental anguish and discomfort. I think I'll sue the news agencys who report on this stuff and get some restitution.

These litigators have also been giving me a headache. They startled me too much with their stupidity. In fact, my head hurts so much, I have to get medications and these medications are giving me more headaches. I will sue the litigators for this discomfort.

So, what do you think my chances are of finding a lawyer to sue the American Bar Association for mental  anguish? Probably about the same as that badger coming back to life.

Dumb lawsuits are still out of hand :-/

A little over 2 years ago a friend was giving me a ride home from school.  Figures...right as we were crossing the last intersection to get to my house (I could see it) a lady came out of nowhere and slammed into the side of us.  Technically it was his fault since we had the stop sign.  But the speed limit is 30 mph....they proved she was going at least 45-50.  Not only that...we picked up the peices of his car and hers only had a little scratched paint on the front bumper  She claimed she was fine and so were we...even though she was speeding his insurence still had to cover it :-/  But then after he thought it was all over...just this year she turned around and tried to sue him for pain and suffering, missed work, etc...she was going for like 25 grand  For one, she was fine after the accident, never went to the hospital, and why suddenly 2 years down the line is she sueing.  He nearly lost the case but luckly they checked the records.  That was 1 of about 10 wrecks this b*tch had been in over those years.  All of which were intersections and all of which she was speeding, and 4 different states :-/  Needless to say she didnt win that one...and from what i heard last she was facing charges of insurence fraud

It doesnt pay to try to cheat the system...what you may get away with isnt worth the risk of getting caught

Now i want to know what "smart" judge lets someone win a suit for falling through a skylight and a knife impailing their foot....all while they were trying to break into the house in the first place :-/

Try this:

Some guy had a guard dog in his junkyard (people would break in to steal tires), and some guy who broke in got attacked.   There were signs posted all over the place saying "beware of dog".

They guy sued the owner of the yard...and won!!!  >:(

Because he could not read...

If I were on the jury, I suppose I would have found for the plaintiff...and awarded damages in the amount of one dollar.  But this schmuck got a lot more than that...

Another woman had a swimming pool.  She learned that kids were sneaking over her fence to swim in it while she was gone.  Worse still, she learned she would be liable for any injuries in it (despite the fact that they snuck in), because her pool was considered to be an "attractive nuisance".  And of course, thanks to all the commercials for attourneys (Lee Free and the like), everyone knew their rights.  She ended up putting up razor wire around her fence...

It's really sad when someone has to resort to that...
