NFL week 17, the finale

If it doesn't fit .. It fits here .. - -

I love how everyone is choosing GB over Seattle and Philly over Washington
Seattle will rest most of their starters, they have nothing at all to play for. If it is Favres last game, he'll want to go out on a high especially at home.

Well, I wouldn't do that - as it would be the others I would be copying. If I thought I would do well I'd just copy B-mans. He had a terrific result the other week. ;) :o

Yeah, Favre was also unbeaten on Christmas, he was a primetime king, he was a bunch of other things at a bunch of other times and they're all pretty much meaningless now.

Because he is playing with an offense that has what? 3 original starters on it. They are down to a 5th string running back. If that offense had stayed healthy Green Bay would not be where they are now.
Right now the biggest problem is no-one on the green bay management team has the guts to tell Brett they have no plans to use him next year. I know he could still perform to a top level next year, but if his heart isn't in it and Green bay say they want him back, he wont say no to another 13 million.

Of COURSE Craig.  What I'm saying is that "he'll want to go out on a high note at home" doesn't carry any weight anymore.  It's not a good enough reason to pick them to win.

I hadn't realised you two were tied. I should pay more attention ;D Good luck to you both.  :)
Personally all I want to see now, is BVP do well tonight. I have no doubt the Chargers will win, if they dont then it further cements why they shouldn't be in the playoffs, but if Denver keep it close, the future is bright:)

I've never seen so many holding calls missed. And that BS with the stadium clock not being started right? I dont care if Denver win or not, I just wish this officiating crew would pull their heads out.

You clearly didn't watch the Alamo Bowl them (well, I already knew that because you told me).  Anyway, that was by far the worst officiated game I had ever seen.  It was really amazing, even the announcers were complaining about it!
