In my defense, it would be higher if I hadn't gone 5 months without being on the forums.

It would be way lower if it wasn't for about 5,000 "lol" and "nice pics" comments. ;P

Don't forget that about 90% were "ABP's." Those 5 months were the only time for anything to actually have "Already Been Posted" before he could say it was!

I dont mind if people just go with a nice pics comment. It shows they have at least taken the time to view those pictures and have a courtesy to reply. I'd love to see the post counts, if the pointless topics were deleted. All the what song threads, the this or that threads, all deleted. I'm sure many of us myself included would soon have a realistic post count.

My way of calculating puts me at 229 posts a month. Waaay to many.

I admit I've often looked at things but not replied -- whether good or bad -- even if I wasn't actually indifferent. I just don't always want to waste space and I don't figure my response is any more important than most others. It also rather depends upon the mood and the circumstances. I doubt I'm alone in that.

I had never considered this either, but I figured I would find out.  So, it looks like I have been a member for 46 months (which is amazing to me) and with my current number of posts I calculate I average 78 posts per month.  That is about what I expected especially since I will take the occassional break and disappear for a few months every now and again.  Plus, I'm not as active as I once was.

Indeed Andrew. Not screenshots in my case but photos. This is one reason I can't be bothered to post so many now. I used to get lots of nice comments from a few members which often led to an interesting discussion but this number has dwindled for some reason. I can only assume that nobody thinks they're interesting enough to comment on or that I've unintentionally offended or upset some of my former friends here. I don't kid myself that they're particulary high quality but most of them are of types that many people here wouldn't get the chance to see every day.

PS. Don't bother working out my average post count.
