PC meets with deferred success...

Postby TacitBlue » Sun Nov 20, 2005 3:58 am

Where will it end! If I hear another one of these "politically correct" phrases or words, I might just consciousely decide to discontinue my existance. ::)

I don't care anymore about PC. It's gone too far.

"Merry Christmas" in advance, "Mate". ;)

The term "deffered succes" may work on some countries. But they should all know that here in the US, that term will make things worse. Believe me. It's bad enough when most teachers, nowadays, just simply bump up trouble-making students [aka Half-witted monkies] to a higher grade without having to get a passing score. :-/

It may have been some years now since I last saw high school, but my memories are still as fresh as my clean laundry. Hell, I even remember many things I did and experienced back in elementary. ::)

Eventually, there will be so many PC terms, that people will just snap, and not use any. I'd like to see that. "The Phrase's Revolt". Yeeees. I like that... ;D

Yes! I say let us all revolt, fat people, skinny people, short and tall! midgets, blind people, deaf people, cripples, bald guys, bald gals (?), hicks, red necks, blacks, whites, chinese, indians and mexicans REVOLT! VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!! If you'll notice, all of those groups of people have alternative "PC" names which I chose not to use because well, it would defeat the purpose

THis is just too much.  THe whole point of 'failure' in school is to show that you screwed up.  Kids who fail should be told that they failed, not that the had 'deferred success'

I don't care about political correctness, I say things the way I want to say them and if someone gets offended by the words I use that is their problem.
In real life (away from this forum) people either find it very amusing to hear me speak or they stay away from me, I rarely hold anything back and if I am in a surrounding where being myself would be overly disrespectful (Thanksgiving/Christmas at the inlaws, here at SimV) I will usually just keep my mouth shut, sometimes I just can't help making comments though.
Still no linked images allowed around here Paz! Naughty...

Here in SimV, I act like a gentleman [and sometimes as a loon]. But in the real world outside SimV, as I said before, I no longer care about politics.

Actually, I seem to have read in the news last year that in either San Francisco or Los Angeles there was a municipal ordinance proposal to ban the use of "slave" and "master" even when referring to their use in computers....
