Just been on the news here that a lady decided to celebrate her 93rd birthday by doing a freefall tandem jump from 14,000 feet (yes they did show footage) :o

Funny you should mention that! We took my grandfather to Alton Towers when he was 76 and he went on all the outrageous rides with us. On every photo they took my grandfather was grinning like a loon and when we asked him if he'd enjoyed them that much that he was smiling he replied "I was trying not to lose my bloody teeth" ;D

I wonder if that 100+ year old lady is still a flight instructor. Haven't heard about her recently. Imagine having her as your instructor.  ;D
