A guy is walking along...

There is nothing extraordinary about him.  We're not talking a saint here.  But he has tried to live a good life.  He is religious, but not pushy.

He's walking along...thinking about what he might wish for if God were to grant him a wish.

All of a sudden...

PING

You really should have a wish...you ask for so little, so I thought I'd grant you one

Well gee...I really don't know what I'd wish for...

That's all right...take your time.  I'm nothing if not patient

(he thinks for a bit)

Well, you know...I really don't like to fly, but I've always wanted to see Hawaii.   Maybe you could make a bridge so I could....you know...drive there...

Well, I certainly could do that, but that's a rather petty wish...and disappointing.  Are you really sure that's what you want?

No...not really...I'll think some more.

(he thinks for a bit and realizes...)

You know...I've been divorced twice, and my third marriage is kind of on the rocks.  I know what I want!  I'd like to be able to understand women, so that I know how to do the right thing.  To know what makes them happy, what upsets them...so that I can maybe save my marriage.  Could you do that>

Do you want that bridge to be two lanes or four lanes?

Oooooh, don't take my beer away.  If you take my beer away, soon you will take my high heel shoes and lipstick!
