Then 1 = 2

Conclusion:

1 + 1 = 3

If 1=2, then

1 + 1=4, no?

If you tell a small child that 1+1=3 , they may eventually believe it ;)

I know plenty of adults who believe 2 + 2 = 5. ::) :D

Nope... but I once subtracted 2 from 3 in speed math and answered 5  ??? !

No, I was supposed to be subtracting 2 from 3 and answered 5; that wasn't being silly -- it was being outright errant! :-[ 8)
