Here's something I just came across in the paper: an article by a pinkeye sufferer who tried an experiment: prescription Visine-A in one eye, and a homeopathic remedy called Allergy Eye Relief (from Similisan [Swiss]) in the other.
The verdict: Visine eye: looked much better, but the Visine stung like hell and the eye still felt irritated;
Homeopathic eye: still quite red, but felt really good.
Ingredients of Allergy Eye Relief: 'bee extract' (I assume pollen or "royal jelly"), eyebright (duh), and cevadilla seed.
