Crap crap crap...is it going to be like this all year for the Pack? I sure hope not...they always seem to start on the wrong foot and then rebound, but I don't know this year...I have a bad feeling.

Too bad, Ben.

I'm still counting on my Giants to pull through tomorrow. :D

oh come on. Its san fran ::)

The mark of a truly elite team is not only one that can win crunch games and beat some of the better teams in the league, but also one that completely blows out the lesser teams ;) (remember NEs loss to the Dolphins late last year?)

I'm really sorry about the Packers Ben-my dad won't remember to pay me allowance for weeks now, he'll be skulking.

However, Brett did reach the 50,000 mark and Reggie's number was retired, both of those are more than a cause for celebration.

PS-The Eagles defensive unit seems to have a nack for welcoming rookie QBs to the NFL the right way.  I still remember last year, when we KICKED THE CRAP OUTTA THE GIANTS ON OPENING DAY (;) ;D), Manning was put in.  On about the 3rd play, he scrambled out of the pocket and got the **** knocked out of him.  I remember actually audibly saying "welcome to the NFL."

Think that same scenario, except with Alex Smith last weekend ;D

Well the Dolphins are a trickey team to play in Miami.
The real test for the Eagles begins within a couple of weeks, They have Oakland next week who can match them score for score but shouldn't be a problem to score against, but the Eagles D will need to be on top form. And then the Cheif's who are also a pretty tough test. They get a week off and then have their final two tough games at home against the Chargers and In probably the toughest game of their season against Denver in Denver. If they get through those AFC West teams at least 3-1 then home field advantage will be theirs. One of the easiest schedules of the league i believe.

That was a bit of a rough week for me but thats OK, I have bigger football things to focus on right now.

Because this weekend I have a big college game to go to:

Although many are predicting a blowout I don't know.

It's not uncommon for there to be big, big college football upsets. ;)

Thats true, and we have a pretty good team.  Plus, they are playing at our stadium which is probably our biggest advantage (since its one of the hardest stadiums in the country to play at).
