Energy Source

Which source of energy do you think we should start using?

My idea:

Get a hamster.
Put hamster in cage.
Rig cage to generator.
Hamster makes cage spin.
Cage makes generator spin.

Easy. ;D

For everybody?

Hampster has to be fed on "the run"
Eyes spin
Head spins
Food all over the place
Water all over the place
Sh.. um, crap all over the place
Food shortages
Water shortages
Continual clean-up
Total exhaustion... :P

katahu makes cage spin
Simv stays open 24 hours a day!
give injection on -the-run every 2 hours. ;)

...my family are all keep fit fanatics.....six of us doing 4 hours a day(two on two off) on a treadmill connected to a generator with battery charging facility should keep us in power with some to spare for the national grid....at todays prices that should make us a net profit to also keep us fed and watered.....mmm....think I'll suggest it to 'em...commoner ;)

Hmmmm.... human or hamster power... seems perfect, but there's the energy required to feed, clothe and house human or hamster (yes, clothes for the hamsters- never dressed up a hamster?)...
Then there's the CO2 produced by all that industry, as well as by the exertion... perpetual motion, it ain't.
T.A.N.S.T.A.A.F.L. , my friends... :P
But I've often thought: what if every door, turnstile, and stairway in just the NYC mass transit system were rigged to generate energy from human passage? Be expensive to implement and maintain, but I'll bet there's a hell of a lot of energy going to waste there.  And the heat down in the subway- Kee-ripes!! If only that could be tapped...
;D

But yes, the Katahu-wheel thing makes sense on other grounds: from the look of that avatar, he could stand to dissipate some excess energy...
:D

I've wired my house electrics via a generator directly to my missus' jaw - voila! perpetual energy!!

It's really easy to regulate aswell, if I need more power I simply say "I'm off to the pub, don't know when I'll be back" & woooaaaggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! She's off & with her jaw going ten to the dozen!!

Easy.

We should rig a bicycle to a generator which then poweres anything we want. We then take turns in alphabetical order.

In that case, I think Andy is the first to take the 12-hour shift. ;D

Kids.

Harness the energy of babies and kids through at least 8 years old.  I mean, have you ever seen parents of babies and toddlers calm, cool and rested?
