I don't care if I lose the bet, but these guys need alot of faith.

Oakland over New England
The Raiders have the best d-fence in the business, and alot of great recievers

That is indeed, alot of faith.

Actually, I would have to stay that Carolina has the best defense in the NFL.   ;)

If the cleveland browns rejects live upto their original expectations, and the rest of the D can get some more turn-overs the Denver Defense will be very good this year. On paper right now, its a tough choice as to who could be the best. No one has really stood out this year, its all been about offense it seems.

Thats true, but its certainly not Oakland.  They were the 30th in defense last year and really haven't made that many changes on D.

Carolina has retained almost the same defense they had from the Super Bowl two years ago.  The only reason Carolina struggled last year was because of offensive injuries-the D was very strong.  I expect the same this year.

Well we will soon find out how good their defence is. Looks like their offense is working well though.

While i question the sanity of putting a 5'8 corner on Randy Moss who is 6'4, i think the Patriots Defence looked quiet good. I think Oakland will be like the Colts this year, good offense and the only chance they have to win is simply to outscore their opponents. They clearly couldn't stop them, i mean a simple post route with 8 guys back to defend the pass and the receiver still found a huge hole to get into. ::)

I was very upset about the texans game.  I honestly thought that they would be a much better team this year, but they just simply stink.  But one interesting thing is that Dunta Robinson is good enough that the bills avoided throwing to him ;D

Yeah, hopefully they'll shape up.  I tried to warn ya Detroit was better than ever-the cyclic nature of the NFL (and sports in general) has begun to favor them.

*sigh* if the eagles hadn't destroyed their d-line they would've been an easy argument for best D.  Doesn't change the fact that they have the best defensive backfield, though.  And we still have Kearse.
