Easy enough to post a link to them on the net, but as a mod I'm not allowed to promote that sort of thing. I've got a couple of the Bloodhound Gangs albums and they're funny 8)

Do you know what...!

...all this DNA stuff sometimes frightens me.

Imagine...

You are arrested on suspicion of committing a very serious crime based upon, for example, a strand of hair found at the scene of the crime...!

Now you know perfectly well that you had absolutely nothing to do with this crime, but are un-able to produce a convincing alibi for the time that the crime occurred...(you were asleep in bed, on your own, miles from the scene).

The case comes before the Court...

The prosecution claims that you are guilty, based upon DNA evidence found in a strand of hair at the scene of the crime.

Now....

The Jury, who know little, if anything, about DNA, or the reliability of DNA evidence, are bound to find you guilty, without question, of the crime, because the prosecution instruct them that DNA evidence is infallible...

What chance have you got to escape the long drop...?
Think about it...
...when that knock comes on the door...

Let's just hope that it never befalls you...or me...

Cheers all...!

Paul....going for a big shave...all over... ;)... ;D...!

I don't think they could prosecute on one hair found at the scene.  They also need some physical evidence...otherwise any lawyer with a half a brain cell will just say the hair could have been planted and there's no evidence to say otherwise. :P

The one thing that's not accurate in the program is thw CSIs interviewing the suspects.  That never happens, because they're not actually police officers.  Except for Horatio in CSI: Miami, but he's a Leiutenant anyway.
