Looking for pilot candidate

Postby headhunter86 » Tue Jul 26, 2005 6:28 am

We are headhunting for one of the leading players in the air cargo service in Malaysia. They are looking for MD11 Captain with gross remuneration offer of over USD10,000 a month, MD11 Cruise Captain with gross remuneration offer of over USD5,000 a month and MD11 First Officer with gross remuneration of over USD4,000 a month. If anyone is interested, please contact me at business@hecglobal.net.

Unless he is talking about a real airline, in which case I wouldn't trust him (sorry man). Why would a real cargo airline do its recruiting in a flight sim forum.

It appears that this person works for a headhunting company. Maybe they've heard about FS in the news lately due to certain bad publicity and tried recruiting.
There is also the same thread in Real Aviation, alas I don't have a commercial licence :(

Yes. I work for a headhunting company. In Malaysia, we can't find pilots with such qualification and experience. That's why we have to try every possible alternative.

Flight International usually would give a fairly decent response! The number of redundant ATPL holders around and looking for work. Simviation isn't noted for the number of ATPL holders in its membership. Bizarre...

Hecglobal.net appears to be an education website too.

Good luck looking here.  Few of us are actually qualified to fly an MD-11 :P

Malaysia, eh? Never been. How much they offering for non-qualified pilots? I bet I could figure it out... ;D
Another question: how many heads can you fit inside a cargo MD11? Guess it depends on whether or not they're shrunken or not... hmmm...
